Training
This division of Trust was set up in late September of 2005. It was a natural step for the company to move toward as it compliments all of the company's other divisions.
Currently delivering a Get Ready For Work programme ( a government funded programme for 16 – 18 year old participants preparing them for the job market ) in Ayrshire which is offering all of the participants a variety of work placements and job, college and skillseeker opportunities. This has been done through the large number of relationships the company has built with companies in Ayrshire. We intend to tender for more Get Ready For Work contracts in other geographical areas of Scotland .
In House Training for all staff of the company takes place at our Blantyre premises on a regular basis. This ranges from one day refresher courses to employees undertaking Management qualifications, ECDL, S/NVQ's and many other industry recognised skills.
Recruitment is carried out by experienced staff. They are currently recruiting for the construction and retail markets and are providing a one stop shop with regards to the potential employee being trained and job ready for the company. This has proved a successful way for us to ensure the employee is reliable and competent from the start of their employment, an attribute highly regarded by the employing companies.
Our future plans are to tender for more Government Training Programmes as we see this as an area of growth within the company, a unique opportunity where we can use our extensive network of contacts to reduce the number of people out of employment.
